Become A Host Home Provider
Sample Supports is actively seeking energetic and professional Host Home Contractors in the Denver/Longmont/Loveland/Fort Collins area to work with adults with developmental and cognitive disabilities in your home. This position is to serve individuals with high behavioral needs. Applicants must be willing to work with a variety of behaviors including but not limited to physical and verbal aggression, trauma-related responses, and limited independent living skills.

In addition, Sample Supports providers need to possess the following characteristics:
Contractors receive competitive stipends to provide care to individual(s) in the provider’s home. This position is responsible for 24/7 care in the provider’s home either through provider or trained respite providers. All necessary training is provided by Sample Supports.
Compensation ranges $1500-$5000/month and is tax free income.
The ideal candidate possesses the following characteristics/skills:
- Preferably experience as a Host Home Provider
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have a GED or diploma
- Must have dependable and reliable transportation with the ability to safely transport
- Ability to pass multiple background checks
- Ability to lift 50-75 pounds
- Excellent social skills to interface with families and individuals with developmental disabilities
- Willing to work with individuals with challenging behavior
- Detail-oriented and task-oriented
- Reliable, dependable and motivated
- Must have appropriate living environment with at least one available bedroom
- Must have experience and knowledge working with the developmentally disabled population
In addition, Sample Supports providers need to possess the following characteristics:
- Passion for actively working to improve the lives of persons with disabilities
- Knowledge and understanding of developmental disabilities, mental health, and trauma
- Skilled in providing behavioral interventions in an effective, calm, and caring manner
- Desire to work closely within a community network of family members, individuals, and agencies
