Become a Foster Parent for a Child with Disabilities
There is a growing need for seasoned families willing to open their hearts and homes to children and teenagers who have been removed from their families. These children need a loving family who will walk with them during a time of crisis and welcome them unconditionally into a caring home. Children in foster care range in age from infants to teenagers and typically remain in your care for anywhere from a few months to several years.

Are you a good fit for foster care?
Many of our foster parents start with little background or experience, but are fully supported through our training and services. The length of placement is on average between 6 months and 2 years. Many of our foster parents are also full-time students, work out of the home, have families of their own or are single providers. This is also a great way to get resume building experience in the social work field and get paid for it!

Testimonials
"It's a great way to stay at home with my kids while earning an income. Yes it's sometimes difficult to share my home with someone who is not technically "family", but it's very rewarding to support and advocate for the individuals in a world that often forgets about them."
- Shidiah (Age 31, 13 years of service)
"Prepare to be more financially secure and a lot more busy."
- Connor (Age 23, 1 year of service)
