When people think of someone with an intellectual or developmental disability they often picture an individual with Down Syndrome. These are the “poster children” for our services as their visible disability helps to publicly define the kind of work we do. Yet, out of the 500 people we work with at Sample Supports, most of the disabilities do not fit the poster child mold. The spectrum of disabilities requires a diverse range of programs to allow individual needs to be met. We pride ourselves on being able to offer a wide range of programs for adults with disabilities.

Supported Employment Services
At Sample Supports, we work with over 40 partner community businesses to provide competitive and integrated employment options. From retail, to hospitality, to landscaping, our range of employers ensures that each individual will be placed in the job that is right for them. In addition, we offer a supplemental employment skills training program for adults with disabilities to further facilitate their success.
Community Day Program
We successfully work with people of all functioning levels and behavioral challenges in our community day program for adults with disabilities. From community outings to meaningful volunteer opportunities, our small group ratios allow for increased social skill development. In addition, we offer door-to-door transportation from 8am - 6pm.

Residential Services
At Sample Supports, we offer comprehensive residential service programs for adults with disabilities. From apartment settings, to host homes, to family caregivers, we have a program that will fit any individual’s specific level of care. In addition, we make it a top priority to be available 24/7 to offer support for those who become a part of these programs.
Behavior ProgramWe are the only PASA in Colorado with “Office of Behavioral Health” approval to treat substance abuse issues and developmental disabilities. We specialize in fearless trauma-informed behavioral intervention and utilize a three step process with each individual that starts with a behavior assessment, moves into functional analysis, and finally into plan development. We go even further by offering training for providers, families and extended team members. Supported Living ServicesAt Sample Supports, we meet people where they are at - and we match them with a provider to achieve their goals.
