These days, it’s not enough to offer a competitive salary and great benefits if you want to keep your employees. You also need to focus on creating a company culture that engages and inspires them. When it comes to recruitment, think about the kind of culture you want to create and look for potential employees who will be a good fit. And finally, remember that developing a strong company culture doesn’t have to be expensive – there are plenty of ways to get creative and make your team feel valued.

Any employer knows that training new employees is essential for the smooth operation of their business. But how do you go about it? What's the best way to ensure that your new hire is up to speed and able to contribute quickly? When you hire a new employee, it's important to make sure they're properly trained. That way, they can hit the ground running and be productive from day one.

By taking that time to properly train and orient your new employees, you're setting them up for success and ensuring that they will be a valuable asset to your team. Giving them the tools they need to be successful not only benefits them, but also your business as a whole. By providing clear instructions and guidelines, you can help reduce mistakes and ensure that your new employee is productive from day one.

There are nearly half a million children in the United States who are living in foster care. Many of these children and youth have intellectual disabilities, which can make it difficult for them to maintain stable placements within their communities

If you are thinking about opening your home to a foster child with an intellectual disability, know that you have the power to make a tremendous difference in their life. By providing them with love, support, and understanding, you can help them thrive.

Sample Supports residential program certifies and supports foster parents to care for youth living with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We provide top-notch resources and support to families who are interested in fostering children with intellectual disabilities.

When becoming a certified foster home with Sample Supports you will have access to our trained and knowledgeable support staff. Each foster parent receives ongoing annual training specific to youth living with intellectual and developmental disabilities.   Our support staff is available 24/hours a day, seven days a week to provide assistance and guidance as needed.

In addition to our supportive services, Sample Supports also provides each foster family with a monthly stipend to help offset the cost of caring for their foster child. At Sample Supports, we understand that every child is unique and deserves a loving home. We are here to provide ongoing support to every caregiver so each home has the ability to provide individualized care for children and youth across Colorado. Our staff specialize in supporting caregivers and foster parents in home settings to create stable and caring homes.

If you are interested in learning more about how to foster a child with intellectual disabilities, please contact us today! We would be happy to answer any of your questions and help you get started on this rewarding journey.
