I totally agree when you said that disability services should be able to communicate effectively in both written and verbal ways. That kind of skill can be used when they need to relay to us what our loved ones would need in our home to make their lives easier. I can imagine how this kind of help will be able to be useful for people with challenges who can't talk or relay what is on their minds.
